The compact router fixed/plunge combo kit delivers a lightweight, yet powerful, palm-grip router that can tackle a versatile range of light- to heavy-duty woodworking applications thanks to its fixed-base and plunge-base capabilities. The Compact Router features a motor that boasts more power than traditional palm routers and motor electronics that maintain speed even under loads of heavy material. A low, contoured gripping surface lowers the center of gravity for advanced control and comfort compared to other trimmers and routers. The ergonomic design allows the woodworker to physically guide the material along the edge, if desired, for exceptional accuracy. Plus, an aluminum motor housing and base provide long-term durability on the jobsite or in the shop.
