2/26/2003

Jackson, Tenn. (Feb. 26, 2003) – Designed to celebrate the passion, craft and achievements of woodworkers from novice to expert, Delta Machinery’s redesigned Web site provides enhanced information, useful project resources and woodworkers’ personal stories. The premiere manufacturer of the world’s most complete line of woodworking machinery and stationary equipment, Delta Machinery will launch its new interactive Web site (www.deltamachinery.com) on Feb. 26, 2003.

“Delta Machinery’s redesigned Web site has unique features including a Delta Owners Club, woodworking project plans and a weekly online poll,” said Chuck Hardin, director of marketing for Delta Machinery. “We hope the Web site becomes an invaluable resource to woodworkers of all ages and experience levels.”

Easy to navigate, the Web site features useful information about Delta Machinery tools such as a product catalog with tool descriptions, photos and tool specifications. Online product registration, downloadable owners’ manuals, and frequently asked questions provide Delta Machinery owners with all the information they need 24-hours a day.

By joining Delta Machinery’s Delta Owners Club, visitors to the Web site can access woodworking plans – ranging from building a jewelry dovetail box to completing a scroll saw sign project – including step-by-step instructions and detailed illustrations. Also, featured in this section are stories and photos of successful woodworking projects, and useful tips and techniques for using woodworking tools. The first 100 Delta Owners Club members to submit their own stories will receive a personalized, autographed photograph of Norm Abram, star of “The New Yankee Workshop,” and may have their stories featured on Delta Machinery’s Web site.

The free membership in the Delta Owners Club entitles users to 10 percent off Delta Gear and eligibility to enter Delta Machinery’s Rev and Roll promotion with prizes including a 2002 Harley-Davidson® VRSCA V-Rod™ motorcycle, Delta Machinery Unisaw® and Delta leather jacket. Additional features of the Web site include a database of Delta Machinery dealers and service centers, a search feature to find parts for Delta Machinery woodworking tools, and an area to request literature and a catalog. Visitors to the Web site can access Delta Machinery corporate information, read the latest news and learn about events in which the company is participating.
