Expert Woodworker Wins Harley-Davidson in “Rev and Roll” Sweepstakes

JACKSON, Tenn., May 14, 2003 – John McAtee recently received the ride of a lifetime thanks to his daughter Pamela McAtee and Delta Machinery. With just two weeks remaining in the Delta Machinery “Rev and Roll” Sweepstakes, Pamela McAtee logged onto and entered in hopes of winning her father the second prize, a Delta Machinery Unisaw, to enhance his woodshop. Pamela McAtee failed to win the Unisaw, but did manage to garner the promotion’s grand prize, a 2002 Harley-Davidson® VRSCA V-Rod™.

“My father is an experienced woodworker and spends hours in his workshop. He has used Delta tools for years and even has a Delta lathe that is 40-years-old,” said Pamela McAtee. “Winning the Harley-Davidson was the farthest thing from my mind when I entered the ‘Rev and Roll’ Sweepstakes, and while I’m sure my father would have loved the Unisaw, he’ll get plenty of use out of his new motorcycle.”

Pamela McAtee was one of nearly 50,000 entries vying for the grand prize Harley-Davidson motorcycle and other valuable Delta Machinery prizes including a Unisaw and ten leather jackets offered in the sweepstakes. Delta Machinery awarded more than $27,000 in prizes as part of the “Rev and Roll” Sweepstakes which was initiated in the spring of 2002.

“The Delta Machinery ‘Rev and Roll’ Sweepstakes was created to give something back to our customers and for a loyal user like John McAtee to win the grand prize is very fulfilling,” said Chuck Hardin, director of marketing for Delta Machinery. “The more than 3,500 online entries and 45,000 paper entries is truly a testament that our customers believe in the Delta Machinery brand and the quality of our tools.”
