PORTER-CABLE POWERS PNEUMATIC TOOL OPERATION
New Cast-Iron, Vertical Air Compressors Meets Pressure Demands
9/7/2004

JACKSON, Tenn., September. 7, 2004 – Porter-Cable’s large-capacity vertical stationary air compressors with the new full cast-iron twin-V pumps provide maximum durability and longer compressor life. The rugged oil lubricated pump design delivers exceptional balance, cooling and filtration for the new 60-gallon C7510 and 80-gallon C7550 compressors assuring smoother operation and extended pump life. Woodworking and automotive professionals, as well as heavy-duty do-it-yourselfers will have the volume and pressure to meet all their high-consumption, continuous operation needs for years to come.

“Many of our customers are requesting the added durability of cast-iron pumps with the quality and reliability they associate with Porter-Cable air compressors,” said William Sadkowski, Porter-Cable air compressor associate product line manager. “Our new cast-iron V-style pump design coupled with our large-capacity tanks empowers users to meet all their air-hungry tool needs at a reasonable price. Features such as oil sight glass, large pressure gauges, and high-torque, 240-volt motors further demonstrate our continuing focus on ease of use.”

The new Porter Cable air compressors provide users with air pressure capacities ranging from 15.2 SCFM @100 PSI with the 80-gallon C7550 to 10.4 SCFM @90 PSI with the 60-gallon C7510 model. Automatic overload shutdown, metal belt guards and ASME constructed tanks with safety valves assure safe, heavy-duty and continuous multi-tool use.

The C7510 is currently available for approximately $449 and the C7550 is available for approximately $849.
